Lisa Cassidy completed her second year of post-graduate study at The Royal Scottish Academy of Music and Drama in 2008, studying under Judith Howarth and Pat MacMahon.

Lisa’s extensive recital experience includes appearances alongside Judith Howarth and Malcolm Martineau at The Hub in Edinburgh, and she has featured in numerous music festivals across the UK.

Lisa is a Britten Pears Young Artist and participates in the prestigious Live Music Now scheme. She also participated in the inaugural Oxford Lieder Master Course in 2007, working with Sarah Walker, Ian Partridge and Richard Stokes; and has worked in Scotland and Wales with such artists as Malcolm Martineau, Marie McLaughlin, Diane Forlano and Mhairi Lawson.

Highlights of Lisa’s Oratorio performances include Symanowski’s Stabat Mater with UEA Symphony Orchestra in Norwich Cathedral; Mozart’s C Minor Mass (first soprano) at St Mary’s Cathedral, Edinburgh; Bach Cantata’s in St Andrew’s church, Scotland with Simon Over, and Pergolesi’s Stabat Mater in Norwich Cathedral with organist David Dunnett.
